Keith Stanley, MA, PhD Managing DirectorKeith Stanley was educated at Cambridge University, being awarded his PhD in Biochemistry. His research at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg resulted in expression cloning methods that allowed many proteins to be studied at the molecular level for the first time. After moving to Sydney, he was appointed as adjunct professor at the University of New South Wales and in the course of his research used whole genome arrays to discover a new family of molecules that signals early in inflammation. With over 100 publications and as founder and organiser of the premier Cell Biology Meeting in Australia for five years Prof. Stanley was in a good position to recognise the importance of the emerging DNA detection methods to further health outcomes.
Axel Johannsson, MA, PhD Business Manager
Axel Johannsson was educated at Oxford and Cambridge Universities. Snce then his experience has been in research and administration of several small to medium size companies. Most recently Axel was managing director of Asia Pacific Dako Australia Pty Ltd.
